Awards & Scholarships

Scholarships

Annually, the Association awards two $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors of eligible active member employees.  Applications are accepted January through April 1st each year.  They are blind-reviewed by a committee, and results are announced by May 1st.

Application due April 1st.

New this year is an application for the Foundation Title School Scholarship. There will be 2 scholarships awarded for both the Basic level and the Intermediate level for members of the NLTA that will cover the registration fees (2025 Year). Application

Title Person of the Year

Title Person of the Year.  The Association also selects from amongst its membership ranks an annual Title Person of the Year (TPOY).  Nominations may be made by anyone wishing to do so.  Each Candidate will be judged solely on his or her qualifications and letters of recommendation which set out the candidates’ involvement in the title industry and which accompany the form. The recipient of the award will be honored with a special presentation during the annual banquet.

This award can be presented at the discretion of the Board of Directors based on recommendations of the Awards Committee. This award is to be presented to a member or past member who has made major contributions to the association over a period of time.
