Request for NLTA PAC Funds: Candidates must complete a Questionnaire — click here to download form.

NLTA needs to improve its ability to get favorable legislative action on bills. The Political Action Committee needs its member’s help. When a member becomes aware of a candidate for the legislature that is supportive of the land title industry, the member can give the questionnaire to the candidate and offer to provide funds to the candidate from the NLTA PAC. The member or candidate can send the completed form to NLTA’s Executive Director and then the PAC Committee will process it as a request for funds. Upon approval of the request, the member can deliver the funds personally to the candidate.

NLTA PAC Treasurer
Effective January 1, 2015, Maria Totten of Omaha became NLTA’s PAC Treasurer; and the Board thanks her for her service.

TIPAC
The American Land Title Association (ALTA) has a political action committee called TIPAC. The NLTA PAC, by a vote of the NLTA Board of Directors, can and has made contributions from NLTA PAC funds to TIPAC to support candidates at the federal level. ALTA members can also directly contribute to TIPAC — contact Jessica McEwen at jessica@alta.org.
