LB386 - 2008 Session
Well by now, and unless you’ve been living under a rock, you are aware that LB 386, (aka the Nebraska Security Instrument Satisfaction Act) was passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor. With no disrespect to anyone’s religious affiliations or beliefs I think it entirely appropriate to offer a collective chorus of hosannas and amens. And, maybe to take the creation chapter from Genesis a bit further, … “and the Association looked at the Act they had passed and said it was ‘very good’ …morning came, evening passed, the end of the 8th day

Attached is a summary of the bill (oops make that law) as prepared by our lobbyist Kim Robak. While very useful as a general outline, and with no disrespect to Kim, it is no substitute for a thorough understanding of the terms and provisions of the law as written. You are therefore strongly encouraged to become familiar with the law itself http://uniweb.legislature.ne.gov/FloorDocs/Current/PDF/Slip/LB386.pdf .   READ MORE . . . .
